Remembering 506 South 58th Street

Several years ago, a few of us from the Bob Jeffrey clan noticed the house of our childhood at 506 South 58th Street was up for sale. There was an open house - so of course we went to see what had changed. Much to our delight, other than the kitchen and the removal of some carpet, the house was almost entirely as we had left it. From the bar in the basement to the fold down desk in the girls room, you can see the pictures taken here. Enjoy!

It was a fun neighborhood to hang out in. I often think about the possibility that at sometime when visiting my cousins we could have made contact with my wife who grew up only a couple of blocks away.

Wow!! It is amazing how much is the same. I remember your neighbor eating cat food in that backyard of yours. The house is beautiful!!!!
