I have decided to do a picture post and travel log on our trip. Mom and I leave next week for England and Ireland. We will be there from Sep. 25th until October 16th. Dan is joining us on October 4th in Ireland.

Dwopsy begins listing, passengers safely cleared!

Willow Point - The Dwopsy II apparently is taking on water at Willow Point. Officials believe one of the "toons" of the famous Pontoon boat may have been compromised during a previous voyage. Professionals have been dispatched to the scene as the Uryasz and Jeffrey families await word of the status. OK, there were no passengers and we don't know when it started listing, but still - The humanity!

Tahoe City Visit- July 2007

Last Sunday, the Wesley family had the gang out to the cabin including Adam, the elusive world traveler. Not only did we get to see Adam, but he also brought his girlfriend Tamoka from Japan. She is as sweet as can be, funny, and has an unusually strong command of the English language.
You're welcome back to the states anytime you two! Otherwise, it was brats from the grill and ox tails from the slow cooker...yum! Ken got in some fishing, Phil and Rich were tasked with moving a dead 3 foot carp from the beach (closest either of them will get to fishing!), and a good time was had by all.

Out of Towners decend upon Omaha

This weekend saw the arrival of some rarely seen faces in Omaha. John & Lila Risko made it to town and Erin Moeschler arrived for her Duchesne class reunion.

Happy Birthday to Alice (Jeffrey) Wesely, who not only celebrated her birthday last week (16th) but also-started a new job in a way too cool orthodontists office. Alice celebrated her birthday evening with Rich, Marti, Husband Ken, son Jeffrey, Mother-in-law and a friend.
