What Californians are Missing:

Just thought you west coast folk would like to see what you're missing in Nebraska. This pic was taken yesterday at Willow Point from the cabin. Ahh, the purity of the driven snow, the brisk sub-zero wind gusts, and no annoying bugs! We're expecting a heatwave tomorrow with a high of 30, then back to sub-freezing for the rest of the week. Needless to say - we're getting a lot done indoors these days.

Rich & Marti move into New Home

Omaha - Rich & Marti decided to make the holidays even more stressful by moving into their new home on December 20th. While just a tad drafty in places, they are quite thrilled with the new digs, have already painted 4 rooms, and look forward to finally being able to host a few family gatherings. A big bonus is living closer to almost everyone in the family. Be sure to stop by !

Family Email

For all of you Jeffreys/Riskos that I just invited to be a member of this Family News Blog I need your help. I am missing many family email addresses and I would appreciate it if you would send me any that you have. I would like to invite as many family members as possible to participate. I am trying to make dwopsy.com a site that family members do actually visit occasionally. This is not a solicitation for the money it costs to host this site but a solicitation of interest to make hosting it worthwhile. A Family News Blog that is used would provide a small connection for our geographically scattered clan. I would like to see the blog kept upbeat, though all significant life events should be acknowledged. THIS COULD BE A LOT OF FUN!
